Programs

The Dr. Michalis J. Linardakis Foundation provides grants to both individuals and not-for-profit organizations to support both individual and family counseling and expenses. We aim to provide this kind of help to individuals and organizations who we have identified as having some of the greatest needs in the State of Illinois. We will also provide psychological support to families of these children and teenagers as necessary. To follow are several examples that represent the type of support we plan to provide:

• Partial medical expenses and family counseling for children ranging in age from infants to 18 years old suffering from non-progressive disorders.
• After-school programs for remedial learning, peer tutoring and adult role modeling for children 12 – 18, in conjunction with The Education Center of Naperville, Illinois, (www.theeductioncenter.org, a 501(c)(3)).
• Counseling, through education and intervention, against drug and alcohol addiction for children & adults of all ages and those organizations that offer such services.
